EXHIBITION OPEN CALL - Open Call for the Project Hall - 2020.
J-Third Art Space exhibition open calls provide artists the opportunity to show new work in our Project Hall. The proposals are reviewed by our curator and a rotating jury of artists that have previously exhibited at J-Third Art Space. J-Third Art Space provides curatorial guidance, documentation, advertising and space.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
J-Third Art Space is committed to presenting new work. Proposals should include artwork that has never been presented in Taiwan. We present artists working in any medium and any stage in their career.
The following criteria will be used during the review process:
-Conceptual strength of the proposal
-Artistic quality of their work
-Strength of past work
-Unique or innovative approach
-Please keep in mind, we are not a traditional gallery space.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
-Project description
-General artist statement (max. 250 words)
-CV or Resume and contact information
-Portfolio to showcase previous work (max. 10 pages)
Applications all of the above are to be submitted digitally (max. 5 MB) and be written either in English or Mandarin to the following address: j3artspace@gmail.com
Project Hall
-Project Hall: 3080mm x 3760mm x 2580mm
-Ceiling Height: 2580mm
-Width between window and door: 3760mm

Use a square field with a length of 3080mm, a width of 3760mm and a height of 2580mm as the exhibition space, covering a white wall, inviting artists to exhibit art project.
Other Information
J-Third Art Space provides curatorial guidance, exhibition space, advertising by mail and various websites and social media and web and print flyers, organization the documentation.
We are a free, self-organized project space, work on a voluntary basis. Unfortunately, there is no budget for production, other technical equipment, transport and insurance (the room is technically secured). We expect good cooperation and agree rules of cooperation, which we send beforehand on request.
Artists are asked at the conclusion of their project at J-Third Art Space to provide a report on what they have done or feel themselves to have accomplished while in J-Third Art Space (max. 500 words).
Artists accepts that the projects/exhibitions and potential works performed or created may be documented in the form of a short film / photos or book. Such documentation will be archived at J-Third Art Space. J-Third Art Space have the right to publish it without cost.
